24 weeks!

6 months pregnant, dont be fooled in to thinking I only have 3 months left, cause its actually 4!! around 16 weeks left give or take a few, depending on the birthday the baby picks and you have 10 months of pregnancy!! We've had our first incident of stage fright :( poor memaw, and aunt ashlea (aka aunt dee-doo, according to carrson) baby was moving so I said ok come feel, and memaw put her hands on my tummy and complete stillness....seriously why do your kids try to make liars out of you! :) I have had a good week, a little cold with the ice storm but we made it through. Sleep has been pretty good this week, Carrson is doing some decent sleeping at night so for exchange i'm getting some decent sleep which is nice :) Baby is still active really active and last night rusty and I caught a heel hanging out up top above my belly button so thats good it means head is down. Thats not really a concern at this stage of pregnancy but any time baby goes head down and stays that way is a good thing :). The clothes that I wore at the end of carrsons pregnancy are starting to fit me now, so thats scary but hopefully they get me through the next 4 months cause I hate to buy more clothes especially right at the end. Last monday we registered at Target, Target has more stuff now for baby than they did with carrson, more choices for bottles and especially breastfeeding gear which is great, all stuff we will need. I've been cleaning out all of Carrsons clothes and getting them in to storage bins arranged by size that way they are easy to get back in to, should this baby be another boy like I think it is. Plus it stores a lot easier that way so its been a fun project going through all his old boxes and putting them in the storage box that they go in. and they are a lot easier to get to now. I'm starting to feel like I really want to know what this baby is, but I think down deep I just want to see the baby again, I need to have a face to picture and connect with, Rusty and I are still tossing around the idea of another sonogram before the 3d/4d one we will get in March but we are still deciding. Regardless I think once I see the baby again I'll go back to feeling better about letting baby surprise us with its sex at the birth, if I give in now i'll never forgive myself, so my impatience is being pushed aside this time.

We haven't done anything new in the nursery this week, we have to get the dresser first which is at IKEA in frisco and then we'll be able to match the paint color and get the changing table painted so they match and then buy a twin mattress and we'll be all set. I need to go back to work on getting some more Cloth Diapers for this baby and then work on making time slow down some cause its getting closer and closer which is hard to believe! Two kids EEEK! :) oh and our next midwife appt is February the 7th so that will most likely be the next update!! Have a great week!
